Uma arara vermelha na frente com as asas abertas no peito representa sua força interior e liberdade como um animal selvagem. No verso, a índia e a onça com seus rostos cruzados e os mesmos olhos azuis representam nossa conexão com os animais. Outros animais também estão presentes na escultura, como o tucano, a borboleta e a cobra, todos em suas mais diversas formas e cores. Todos os elementos representados na escultura possuem cores mais quentes em sua composição, transmitindo a ideia de atenção e urgência que nós humanos temos que ter com a natureza para sua preservação. Os respingos de tinta referentes a uma arte representam que a fauna e a flora são uma obra de arte por si só. No conjunto, a obra representa os guardiões da floresta.”
"I wanted to represent some important figures present mainly in the Brazilian fauna. We have a black panther represented by the dark color and in the face with painted eyes, nose, and whiskers.
A red macaw at the front with open wings on his chest represents his inner strength and freedom as a wild animal. On the back, the Indian woman and the jaguar with their faces crossing and the same blue eyes represents our connection with animals. Other animals are also present in the sculpture, such as the toucan, butterfly, and snake, all in their most diverse forms and colors. All the elements represented in the sculpture have warmer colors in their composition, conveying the idea of attention and urgency that we humans have to have with nature for its preservation. The paint splatters referring to an art represent that the fauna and flora are a work of art in their own right. On the whole, the work represents the guardians of the forest."
“Quise representar algunas figuras importantes presentes principalmente en la fauna brasileña. Tenemos una pantera negra, representada por el color oscuro en el rostro, con ojos, nariz y bigotes pintados.
En la parte frontal, una guacamaya roja con las alas abiertas sobre el pecho representa su fuerza interior y la libertad propia de un animal salvaje. En la parte posterior, una mujer indígena y un jaguar, con sus rostros entrelazados y los mismos ojos azules, simbolizan nuestra conexión con los animales.
Otros animales también están presentes en la escultura, como el tucán, la mariposa y la serpiente, cada uno representado en sus más diversas formas y colores. Todos los elementos de la obra están compuestos por tonalidades cálidas, transmitiendo la idea de la atención y la urgencia que nosotros, los seres humanos, debemos tener hacia la naturaleza para garantizar su preservación.
Las salpicaduras de pintura, propias de una expresión artística, representan que la fauna y la flora son una obra de arte en sí mismas. En conjunto, la obra representa a los guardianes del bosque.”
